Over the past few days, the city of Matosinhos welcomed the transfer partners from the cities of Koblenz, Alytus and Drama, providing a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and discuss innovative approaches to sustainable urban development.

The Portuguese National Association of Green Roofs (ANCV) participated as a project partner alongside the ISEP – School of Engineering, Polytechnic of Porto, the University of Aveiro, and IrRADIARE Science for Evolution, under the coordination of the Municipality of Matosinhos.

Throughout the meeting, partners explored some of the project’s key innovative initiatives, including the Digital Neighbourhood Challenge, the Urban Intelligence Centre (UIC), and the expansion of the Civic Innovation Lab (LABIC). These initiatives play a fundamental role in supporting the transition towards more sustainable, inclusive, resilient, and vibrant cities.
