The Portuguese National Association of Green Roofs (ANCV) participated in the Nature-Based Solutions and Ecosystem Restoration Seminar held at the Bragança Ciência Viva Centre on 22 and 23 May.

On 22 May, ANCV Vice-President, Prof. Dr. Cristina Calheiros, delivered the workshop “Nature-Based Solutions: Practical Applications of Floating Islands in River Ecosystems”, promoting the exchange of scientific and technical knowledge on sustainable solutions for environmental restoration and ecosystem enhancement.

On 23 May, ANCV presented “Creating Resilient Cities: The Role of Green Roofs and Green Walls in Urban Environments”, led by Executive Coordinator Isabella Costa. The presentation highlighted the contribution of urban green infrastructure to climate adaptation, biodiversity enhancement, and the improvement of urban quality of life.
