The World Congress of Building Greening 2026 will be held in Berlin, Germany, from 9 to 11 June 2026.
Organised by the Bundesverband GebäudeGrün (BuGG), the congress is recognised as one of the most important international events dedicated to the greening of roofs, façades and interior spaces, bringing together experts, researchers and industry professionals.
The programme will run over three days and will feature more than 80 technical and keynote presentations delivered by speakers from around 20 countries, covering over 25 thematic areas.
Key topics include sustainability, solar green roofs, stormwater management and water reuse, biodiversity, energy, EU policy, urban strategies, maintenance and technology, education, market development, and practical case studies.
The congress will also include an exhibition and poster area, where more than 50 companies will showcase the latest innovations and solutions in the green building sector, providing insight into current international trends.
The final day of the event will be dedicated to technical excursions in Berlin, including thematic tours focused on green roofs, green façades, indoor greening, and integrated green building solutions.
Confirmed keynote speakers include internationally renowned experts such as Prof. Werner Sobek, Dr. Patrick Blanc, and Prof. Michael Braungart, among others.
