UrbanScape is the solution for Knauf Insulation Green Roofs, a complete turnkey system.
Extremely light (allows application without the need to reinforce existing structures), with a high water absorption capacity (29 L / m2), it reduces the time and cost of its installation by about 30%. With little maintenance required, it imposes itself as a great alternative to the use of soil, the high absorption capacity and low thickness of the rock wool substrate used.
Economically, UrbanScape triples the expected durability for coverage, helps to reduce energy consumption and reduces noise. It can be 40º cooler than a traditional roof, purifies rainwater and contributes to a cleaner air - 1m² of landscaped roof can absorb 5 Kg of CO2 / year.
Urbanscape consists of four layers: an anti-root membrane, a drainage system with or without water reservoir, a patented original rock mineral wool substrate and a layer of vegetation - grass carpet.
